Descendents: Milo Goes To Comics
written by Annie Zaleski
with Milo Auckerman and Bill Stevenson
illustrated by Ryan Dunlavey
The sprawling, nearly five-decade story of genre-defining punk legends Descendents with the original graphic novel, MILO GOES TO COMICS. From a friendship forged in the 1970s to a career that helped reshape the sound, spirit and possibilities of punk, the story of DESCENDENTS/ALL is as unconventional as the band itself.
Written by Bill Stevenson, Milo Aukerman and Annie Zaleski and illustrated by Ryan Dunlavey, this graphic novel traces the band's winding journey through their music, friendship, evolution and perseverance. More than a chronicle of records and shows, the book offers a visual portrait of the people and moments behind a band whose influence continues to reverberate across generations.
Praise for Descendents: Milo Goes To Comics
“This comic is WAY more entertaining than reading the Wienerschnitzel coupon page... and better for you too! Seriously though, Annie and Ryan have accurately captured the roller coaster ride of our band history, with many anecdotes never before revealed. I can’t wait for our fans to experience the humor, mishaps, and pathos of the Descendents story, which continues to this day!”
