M.O.D.O.K.

by Ryan Dunlavey

Down on his luck, the giant-headed super villain M.O.D.O.K. (Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing) is forced to relocate his base of operations to his dysfunctional parents home in sleepy Erie, Pennsylvania to try and get his life back together while trying to manage his disgruntled minions, avoid former childhood bullies, do battle with a blue collar Canadian super hero, and impress everyone at his high school reunion.

M.O.D.O.K.: Reign Delay was one of the most fun projects that I've ever done. Ten years after publication the comic would help inspire the premise of the M.O.D.O.K. animated series about his mundane home life and how his deep personality flaws are his main weakness.

“Ryan Dunlavey’s MODOK [is] one of the best comics of all time.”

-Chris Sims, Invincible Super-Blog

“If you get only one comic this year that features a giant-headed supervillain being accosted in a bar restroom by grown-up bullies and given a swirlie, make it this one.”
